Mr. Doherty is the Managing Member of
Mr. Doherty's role is to help refine the vision of Saturday Capital's portfolio companies and help the management teams translate each vision into strategic and operational plans that are realistic and deliver positive growth results for their companies. Mr. Doherty has invested in, acquired and helped grow dozens of companies, some of which have been sold to Google, Microsoft, larger private equity firms and other industry leading companies.
Prior to founding Saturday Capital and its predecessor Mariner Capital Partners, Mr. Doherty was Managing Director of M&A Investment Banking at A.G. Edwards, where he led the firm's private company, middle-market efforts and advised A.G. Edwards' board of directors on M&A opportunities.
Mr. Doherty received his BSBA from Georgetown University, McDonough School of Business and
an MBA from the University of
Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
Mr. Doherty lives in Town & Country, Missouri with his wife and family.
Mr. Doherty is the Chief Financial Officer of
Mr. Doherty has over 20 years of senior investment banking experience, heading groups at JP Morgan, UBS, and Merrill Lynch responsible for infrastructure, securitization, structured products and municipal project finance. At JP Morgan, he directed banking services provided to state and local governments. At UBS, he managed their industry-leading National Infrastructure Group, providing financing solutions to a broad range of governmental sectors. Overall, Mr. Doherty has structured or advised on over $25 billion of infrastructure and municipal transactions.
Mr. Doherty joined Ensyn as CFO in May 2013 from Renova Capital Partners, a Denver-based investment firm founded in 2007 to develop, own and aggregate clean energy infrastructure assets, where he remains a partner.
Mr. Doherty received his BSFS from Georgetown University, Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service and an MBA from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business.
Mr. Doherty lives in Denver, Colorado with
his wife and family.
Mr. Crandall is a founding member of
Affinity Law Group LLC.
Mr. Crandall represents Saturday Capital in a broad range of corporate transactions, including: (i) new business formation; (ii) mergers, acquisitions and divestitures; (iii) private equity and venture capital transactions; (iv) general business counseling; (v) drafting and negotiating commercial contracts; and (vi) structuring, negotiating and documenting credit facilities.
Mr. Crandall has experience with companies in a number of different industries, including manufacturing, consumer products, distribution, oil and gas, restaurants, financial services, medical goods and services, software and technology.
Mr. Crandall received his BS in Economics, cum laude, from Southwest Missouri State University and his JD, Order of the Coif, from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis.
Mr. Crandall is a member of the Missouri Bar and the Illinois State Bar Association.
